When entering the Saudi market, commodities must prepare relevant customs clearance information. Some commodities will have other relevant requirements under specific circumstances. Then what specific matters need to be paid attention to? Let's take you a look at the next part.
Customs clearance requirements and import requirements of Saudi Arabian special line
(1) The actual consignee or the final consignee needs to designate a Customs registered importer, IOR, to clear the customs, to submit the customs clearance documents and pay the import tariffs, to ensure the smooth arrival of the goods.
(2) Customs declaration materials must include copies of business registration and the consignee's authorization to clear customs for them.
(3) For products entering Saudi Arabia, except for a few exempted products such as food and medicine, SABER certification issued by authoritative testing companies in the country of origin is required.
(4) If the value of goods imported in the name of the company or in the name of the company exceeds US$100, a copy of the importer's business registration (business license) is required.
(5) When all Saudi citizens and foreign nationals import goods up to US$100 in their private names, they need to provide ID numbers. If they need to carry out self-delivery documents, they must be written in the VAT number of the DHL manifest.
(6) If a commodity needs to be delivered to Dhahran with a value of US$13,250, or to Jeddah and Riyadh with a value of US$2,500, the importer must have an authorized DHL to act as its clearance agent with a validity period of one year. If the goods exceed a certain amount, some areas also require certificates of origin provided by authoritative trade organizations of the country of origin. If the relevant customs clearance documents are not provided in accordance with the above requirements, the goods will be returned and the cost of return will be borne.
