Since August 1, 2019, the following five categories of products must submit applications using SABER system and obtain relevant certificates:
1. Technical regulation for electrical self balancing boards (scooters).

What is SABER certification?
1. SABER certification refers to the conformity certification evaluation plan for non-Saudi native enterprises (i.e. enterprises exported to Saudi Arabia). Therefore, for China's export enterprises, SABER certification plan should be paid attention to.
2. SABER is a new upgraded version based on the original SASO certification. It is also a new certification and accreditation plan that will replace SASO certification.
It is believed that the term 'SABER' is no longer unfamiliar to traders exporting to Saudi Arabia in the near future. After SASO announced the opening of the Saudi Product Safety Program (SALEEM), new product technical regulations and implementation of new programs are constantly updated and improved.
Finally, I would like to remind you that you should contact the local importers and inspection and certification agencies in Saudi Arabia as soon as possible to complete the SABER certification of the new five categories of products, so as to avoid obstruction in the export of goods.
