According to the regulatory notice issued by the Iraqi government in 2013, customs and terminals announced that they will be strictly enforced from October 1, 2019. All imported Iraqi goods, certificates of origin and commercial invoices must be stamped by the Iraqi embassy in the place of origin. Otherwise, any fines and delays will be borne by the shipper. Shipping company Emirates Shipping has issued a notice.
